| Due to high demand from the audience
(this means YOU, dear reader!) and for celebrating the
barrier of 2000 visitors here at http://www.altariamusic.com/
the band has decided to release entire Sleeping
Visions (demo/promo 2001) on the Internet! There
are 2 sets of MP3s available from all of the songs -
a 96kbit/s version for slower connections and high quality
256kbit/s files for people who're willing to wait a
bit longer or who demand higher audio quality. The MP3s
are of course full-length, not just samples.

The demo is now ready. There's also a possibility
to buy the demo (for an indefinite period), check
details from the brand new merchandise

| All vocals (lead & background vocals,
choirs & harmonies) are recorded, mixing & mastering
the songs will start today. Also the rest of the photos
from the studio are now added to the photo
section. Stay tuned, MP3s are soon on their way

| All guitars recorded, new photos
from the studio added. No keyboards recorded due
the long weekend for Jani (3 Sonata Arctica gigs, long
studio session recording the guitar parts, lots of traveling...)
so the songs are bit simplified. There's enough melodies
for the listeners even without the keyboards, don't
worry :) |

| All bass guitars and drums are now recorded.
Guitars will be recorded during this week, the rest
(vocals & possibly some keyboards if there's enough
time) of the recording plus the mixing of the demo will
be done in about a week after Jani's entered the studio.
The demo will contain three songs: "Fire And Ice", "Innocent"
and "Kingdom Of The Night". Also 18 photos from
the studio are now available. More to come soon!

to hardware problems at the recording studio. New
